Mountain bike passage for mix level group
1. Day : Meeting at Sofia Airport and departure to the city of Gotze Delchev.
( if tourists arrive before 13.00 h a lunch and sightseeing in Bansko ).
Dinner and spending night in hotel *** in the city of Gotze Delchev.
2. Day : Breakfast and visiting by bikes architectural reserves – village of Leshten
and village of Kovatchevitza ( 35 km. asphalt road).
Lunch. By choice : Bike passage ( 20 km. ), sunbath at worm mineral water pool
or photo - hunt and watching animals.
Dinner and spending night in hotel *** in the city of Gotze Delchev.
3. Day : Breakfast and departure to the area of Teshel. Bike passage ( 12 km. asphalt,
altitude change - 300 m. ) to the “ Devil’s Throat “ cave. Seeing the cave and
bike passage ( 6 km. secondary road, altitude change - 100 m. ).
Lunch in the village of Yagodina and bike passage ( 4 km. asphalt,
altitude change - 300 m. - downward) to Yagodinska cave. Seeing the cave
- 1 hour, and going back upward to the village of Yagodina.
Dinner and spending night in family hotel ** in the village of Yagodina.
4. Day : Breakfast and bike passage ( 8 km. asphalt, altitude change - 450 m. - downward ) in
picturesque canyon.
Passage for beginners and old-age bikers: ( 25 km. asphalt, altitude change - 300 m. )
to architectural reserve – village of Shiroka Laka, escorted by buss with the luggage.
Passage for advanced bikers: by secondary adventure road alongside river
( 10 km. asphalt, 32 km. secondary road, altitude change - 1000 m. ).
Meeting of groups in architectural reserve – village of Shiroka Laka.
Lunch and bike passage by secondary road for both groups ( 18 km. secondary road,
Altitude change - 600 m. ).
Dinner and spending night in hotel *** in cultural complex – the city of Chepelare.
5. Day : Breakfast and bike passage by secondary road through mountain hut “Izgrev” ( 30 km.
secondary road, altitude change - 900 m. ) to the rock phenomenon “ Wonder bridges “.
Lunch.
Passage for beginners and old-age bikers: downward 20 km. asphalt and
Departure by buss to Bachkovski monastery, biosphere reserve “ The Red Wall “ and
Middle Ages fortress “Assenova“. Bike passage – downward 10 km. secondary road
Passage for advanced bikers: downward by secondary road 12 ęm to the village of
Orehovo, upward to Byala Cherkva and downward through mountain huts “Zdravetz”and
“Ruen ”to Ruensko lake ( 28 km sec.road, 8 km asphalt, total altitude change - 900 m. ).
Both groups are gathering.
Dinner in tavern with pool along the lake.
Spending the night in hotel *** in the city of Asenovgrad.
6. Day : Breakfast and bike passage through St.Petka monastery ( 25 km. sec.road, 5 km asphalt,
altitude change - 1000 m. ) to “Martziganitza” mountain hut.
Passage for the beginners starts from “Martziganitza” mountain hut.
Lunch in the hut and bike passage ( 10 km. sec.road ) to the thracian sanctuary
“ Belintash ”. Seeing the rock creations and passage ( 5 km. sec.road )
to the village of Oreshetz. Leaving by buss to the city of Plovdiv.
Dinner and spending the night in hotel *** in the city of Plovdiv.
7 Day : Breakfast, seeing the Old town and departure to Sofia Airport.
The route is 7 days and it is calculated for mix group of 20 people ( advanced and beginners ) bikers with their own bikes. There is a possibility for decreasing the route by one day ( the 6th one ).
The route is picturesque and adventurous middle level extreme areas for the advanced bikers. It passes through ancient architectural and eco-clean natural reserves, rock phenomenon, ancient forests with many herbs, rivers, caves, fortresses and monasteries.
Adventure with clean mountain air, traditional Bulgarian kitchen and folklore, testing wines and yoghurts, healthy bath curing procedures and massages.
In prices are included: Bed night with breakfasts, 4 guides-technicians with the language needed and spare parts, transport for the bikes and luggage, tourist and entrance taxes, obligatory mountain insurance.
Airplane tickets are not included in the price.
Additional payment: 7 Euro / day – lunch and dinner for one person.
15 Euro / day – rent a bike, helmet and bike rucksack.
